This card has been created for the Three Cheers for Chairs Challenge over at The Moxie Fab World. It was quick and easy to put together and I incorporated a great technique using a Memento ink pad and a Cuttlebug embossing folder. If you haven't tried this before then you may want to give it a go. Just ink up your embossing folder (most inks will wash off no problem after), sandwich your card stock in between and run it through your machine. Viola, super simple but very effective.
Right, I have some time so I think I will finish off another card. My gorgeous man has taken the wee ones with him to the football club and I am cutting paper as fast as I can.
Very elegant and beautiful. I've seen this technique before but have not tried it. I have the same folder you used and I think I'll give this a try.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful. I must give the Cuttlebug tecnique a try.
ReplyDeleteHi Sam! Lovely card, you have an amazing talent ;)
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing and lovely! Nice vintage colors and thanks for explaining your technique, I think I'm going to try that!
ReplyDeleteStunning and elegant, Sam! I love the neutrals you used which compliment the style of the vintage chair to a "T". Great job!

ReplyDeleteHey Sam! Thanks for entering the Three Cheers for Chairs Challenge in the Moxie Fab World! :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Looks like you made the card directly out of the upholstery from the chair! I've heard of this Cuttlebug technique but haven't tried it; this is just the inspiration I needed. Thanks!
